Join us for an evening of traditional Indian music, dance and drama.

About the performance
Out of the quiet, dark winter as spring awakens, witness Hindu goddesses come to life in the Triveni Ensemble’s “Devi,” featuring Bhairavi, the fierce warrior; Saraswati, patron of knowledge and the arts; Lakshmi, bestower of fortune; and Parvati, the embodiment of love and devotion. Neena Gulati and the Triveni Ensemble present a spellbinding performance that showcases three Indian classical dance styles with brand new choreography, set to both modern and traditional music. “Devi” fuses percussive footwork, sensual movement and nuanced storytelling.
