Dr. Chavan will reflect on Pratham’s journey to becoming one of the most influential education organizations in the world and how Pratham is leveraging technology to reinvent the traditional classroom model. The evening will touch on several fascinating topics including the potential for using speech recognition and synthesis, chatbots, recommendation engines, and behavior tracking to solve this enormous education deficit faced by hundreds of millions of children.
Dr. Chavan was named a 2014 Asia Game Changer by the Asia Society and received the 2012 WISE Prize, an award which has been equated to a Nobel prize for work done in education.
