During the evening, you will have the opportunity to network and be inspired by how the NGO is leveraging technology to deliver quality education. Pratham’s low-cost programs make it easy to make an impact. A donation of just $25 can support the education of one child. All proceeds from the night will benefit Pratham.

Anupama Shekhar, Lead Regional Manager, TEALS (Technology Education and Literacy in Schools) supported by Microsoft Philanthropies

Anupama is a former program head of Pratham’s vocational training program. She worked closely with Co-Founder and President Dr. Madhav Chavan to develop the skills training, digital literacy, and beauty entrepreneurship programs, which empower thousands of young adults annually.

Anupama Shekhar manages the western US region as well as Canada for the TEALS program, which helps high schools build their capacity to teach computer science. Anupama holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an undergraduate degree from Singapore Management University. During her MBA, she worked with the Tanzanian government as an education consultant and also worked in education strategy consulting. After Wharton, she spent a year on the Enterprise Sales team at Microsoft, leading strategic partnerships with global healthcare and semiconductor companies after which she transitioned back to her passion for education.
