Satish Cherwoo

Satish Cherwoo has over 30 years of experience in trading commodities, including futures and options for various global trading firms. He began his career as a financial analyst at Louis Dreyfus Corporation. Since then Satish has worked as a senior trader at Marc Rich International (the predecessor of Glencore plc, one of the largest commodities trading and production companies in the world); a risk manager for Land O’Lakes, Inc.; and a senior trader and risk manager for Consolidated Natural Gas.

Satish has a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from J&K University in Kashmir and an MBA in finance from NYU Stern School of Business. He is a former recipient of the C.W. Nichols Foundation Fellowship from NYU Stern and has served on the board of managers of Three Lincoln Center Condominium in New York City since 2010.

He actively contributes to organizations making a significant impact in education, healthcare and the alleviation of poverty.
