Houston, TX, May 2, 2025 – Pratham USA is proud to announce the appointment of Ashish Gupta to its Board of Directors. Ashish brings a wealth of experience in global strategy and a strong commitment to philanthropy, making him a valuable addition to the organization’s national board.
Ashish Gupta serves as Chief Strategy Officer and was an early investor in Amira Learning, a groundbreaking AI powered reading coach that is proven to accelerate literacy in English and Spanish. Today, Amira Learning reaches over four million students across 19 countries. Previously, Ashish founded and co-founded two highly successful investment management firms respectively, each overseeing more than $1 billion in capital deployed at their peak, and has contributed to the growth and success of numerous early and growth stage companies.
Ashish also serves on the Chapter Leadership Committee for Pratham USA and co-founded the Austin Chapter in 2010. He is also a member of the advisory board of two private equity firms, one specializing in education and healthcare technology. Previously, he served on the advisory board for the McCombs Business School and Entrepreneurship Center at the University of Texas (UT), among other initiatives. Ashish currently resides in Austin, Texas, with his wife and two teenage children.
