Art for Articulacy

Kids in grades K-12 are invited to participate in Art for Articulacy, an art competition hosted by Pratham Raleigh Youth.

CONTEST DETAILS

Registration starts at 2 pm and the competition runs from 2:30 to 4:30 pm. The theme of the art competition will be announced on the day of the event.

Paper and colored pencils will be provided. Entrants are also permitted to bring their own supplies and paper as long as the size of the paper does not exceed 9X12 inches.

Any materials, such as acrylics, watercolors, colored pencils, and oil pastels can be used, but only a maximum of 5 colors are permitted.

Local art teachers and volunteers will judge the contest in three categories: ages 5-8, ages 9-12 and ages 13+. Three winners in each age group plus three overall winners will be selected (total 12). The winning entries will be featured in a 2017-2018 calendar and he first place entry will be used for the T-shirt design of the annual RTP 5k run/walk.
