Dr. Lav Kapadia and Mr. Suman Chepuri to co-lead the Pratham Dallas-Fort Worth Chapter

We are honored to announce the appointment of Dr. Lav Kapadia and Mr. Suman Chepuri as Co-Presidents of the Pratham Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) Board.

Dr. Lav Kapadia is a board-certified Otolaryngologist. He joined the Pratham DFW Board in 2003 and has served as the DFW Board President for several years. He is supported by his wife, Manisha Kapadia, who has led successful DFW Readathon campaigns and helped spur community engagement.

Mr. Suman Chepuri has supported Pratham for over a decade and has served on Pratham DFW’s board since 2016. He is a passionate champion of increased access to quality learning opportunities for children and young people. Mr. Chepuri runs Lakeside Capital, a long-short equities hedge fund he founded in 2021. Before his role as an investment manager, he had a long career in the tech industry, which concluded in the position of Chief of Staff at Verizon. He has been a Dallas area resident since 1998, with his wife Tanya and their two children.

We would also like to highlight the tremendous accomplishments and contributions of our outgoing DFW Board President, Dr. Nick Shroff, who led the chapter with creativity and grace during the challenging pandemic years. Under Dr. Shroff’s leadership, the chapter raised record-breaking funds during the pandemic and demonstrated its capability to grow in the coming years. We thank Dr. Shroff for his significant gifts, including his generosity, dedication, and service to Pratham USA. We are looking forward to Dr Shroff’s continued engagement as a member of the Chapter Board.
