Marie Myers, Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, will be joining us as the guest speaker. She has been recognized for her significant contributions to the business world. Marie has been honored as one of the Top 20 Most Powerful Businesswomen in Texas, including being selected for Texas Executive Women on the Move and as one of the Top 30 Influential Women of Houston. CHANGING LIVES, TRANSFORMING FUTURES
This year, our luncheon will spotlight Pratham’s Vocational Skilling Program, which empowers young people, especially school dropouts, by equipping them with essential job skills in high-demand sectors.
Operating in 17 states with 140 centers, the program reaches 20,000 villages, with over 42% of trainees being women. A 2023 survey of alumni revealed that 60% are engaged in income-generating activities, and 8% are pursuing higher education, with many earning up to three times their family’s pre-skilling income.
