From Humble Beginnings to Healthcare Hero: Jyoti's Inspiring Story
In the small village of Kanker, Chhattisgarh, lives a young woman named Jyoti. With a strong sense of purpose, she embarked on a new chapter enrolling in Pratham’s Skilling program and moving to Raipur, a place that held both excitement and uncertainty.
Here, she immersed herself in the world of healthcare. In the practical classes, she learned quickly and honed her skills, from checking blood pressure to administering sugar tests. Each step brought her closer to her dream of becoming a healthcare professional. Despite the initial challenges and the disapproving voices of her neighbors, she remained strong. She knew that learning held the key to unlocking her dreams and transforming her life.
With unwavering determination, Jyoti completed her nursing assistant course, her hard work and perseverance paving the way for success. She secured a job at a homecare agency, earning a monthly salary of Rs. 9000. Her dedication and competence soon gained recognition, and her salary was increased to Rs. 11000.
