UNICEF is a leading humanitarian and developmental agency working globally for children’s rights, from shelter and nutrition to healthcare and education. UNICEF currently supports Pratham education programs in the eastern Indian states of West Bengal, Bihar, Assam and Chhattisgarh. Our association with UNICEF dates back to 1994-95 when Pratham was established in collaboration with the Greater Municipal Corporation of Mumbai and UNICEF to work on an early childhood education project in the slums of Dharavi in Maharashtra.
