Just as it takes a village to raise a child, it takes a community to educate one. In this way, our 13 chapter communities bring together passionate people from all walks of life who support Pratham through local events and activities. Their common bond: To improve the education of India’s children.
How do they do this? Through social events that reflect the culture of their community: concerts, 5K runs, happy hours, fireside chats and lakeside picnics. From intimate gatherings to large galas, chapter members conceive ways to build momentum for Pratham’s programs throughout the year. They are the ones who give a voice to India’s children.
Yes, one person can make a difference, but a united group of people can do so much more. Getting involved is an excellent way to meet like-minded people in your community while working for a common cause.
