Join the Young Professionals
Pratham’s Young Professionals (YP) are united in their passion for helping India’s children escape a lifetime of illiteracy and poverty. YP groups garner support for our programs through awareness-building events and activities, and they’re always seeking new members to contribute their time and talent. Are you ready to join us?
Members—who generally range between 18 and 40 years of age—represent a variety of career paths and contribute their talents and time by organizing local events, raising funds and spreading awareness of Pratham’s work. Past events have included karaoke contests, pub gatherings, musical shows and photography competitions.

Atlanta

Dallas-Fort Worth
The family-focused Dallas-Fort Worth chapter hosts an array of kid-friendly events and is the birthplace of the Pratham USA Readathon.

Our founding Houston chapter plays a leadership role with its high-profile gala, family-friendly gatherings and active Young Professionals group.

Mid-Atlantic
Arts and cultural events are a strong element in our high-profile Mid-Atlantic chapter (formerly known as the Washington, DC chapter), which also has a vibrant Young Professionals group.
New York Tri-State
Motivated, diverse and forward-thinking, our largest chapter (comprised of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut) includes some of the area’s most prominent Indo-Americans.
