Established in 2018, the Pratham Youth Leaders Program encourages intellectually curious American students to establish a meaningful connection to our work and India through a structured service-learning internship at the Pratham Arora Centre for Education, near Aurangabad.
Participants gain a broad understanding of how a particular program functions while placing it in the larger context of the problems Pratham addresses through its work. In addition, youth leaders acquire valuable experience in a field of interest, new perspectives on contemporary issues in India and an opportunity to make lasting friendships.
The program is open to US students between the ages of 16 and 20.
HOW TO APPLY
Applicants must submit a resume/curriculum vitae and a 300-word essay on their interest in the program by March 22, 2020 to email@example.com. Following an initial review, a small group of candidates will be shortlisted for interviews. Final selections will be announced on April 19, 2020, based on a first-come, first-approved basis.
