Anee Brar

Anee Brar is a purpose driven social impact leader with 20+ years experience in multi sector collaborations including startups/tech, government and nonprofits. She have a proven track record of managing distributed and cross functional teams delivering innovative, high profile, technical, and fast-growth social impact programs from conception to implementation that create systemic change. Her areas of expertise are strategic public private partnerships, new program design and implementation, fundraising, financial and contract management, project management and program evaluation impacting community and economic development, affordable housing and health.

Before joining Pratham USA, Anee was previously with AIF, and prior to that she led customer success at a YC health-tech startup responsible for deploying software in large hospitals including UCSF and Alameda County. Anee also led an evaluation department at a $20M non-profit, worked with San Francisco Treasurer, Jose Cisneros where I led the implementation of San Francisco’s Kindergarten to College program – the first large scale, universal children’s savings accounts program in a public school system. Prior to moving to San Francisco, she administered multimillion dollar grant-making programs including disaster response and relief in Washington State and coordinated the first Interagency Council on Homelessness (ICH) in the country charged with data sharing and resource coordination across state agencies to reduce homelessness. Before that Anee managed a microloan program at a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) providing access to loans for low income communities.
