Wednesday, April 17, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM

Join Pratham LA for an evening with Dr. Rukmini Banerji, CEO of Pratham Education Foundation.

Dr. Banerji will be the distinguished guest speaker at the annual Solanki Lecture, hosted by the College of Liberal Arts and the Yadunandan Center for India Studies at CSU Long Beach.  In its 17th year, the Solanki Lecture is one of the only endowed lectures about South Asia given in the US.

In India, most students who have completed eight years of school are ill-prepared to pursue higher studies and lack the necessary skills to enter the workforce. With programs ranging from early childhood to vocational training, Pratham offers innovative solutions to address India’s learning crisis.
