Pratham USA Announces Two Key Leadership Appointments
Pratham USA is pleased to announce two key leadership appointments.
National Board Director and Seattle Chapter Chairman Pradeep Singh has been appointed vice-chairman of the board and chair of the marketing committee. In this role, Pradeep will be responsible for the strategic direction and operations of our digital marketing efforts.
Pradeep has agreed to lend his support at a critical time. His experience and expertise in the technology and marketing sectors will allow us to navigate this moment with a focus on diversifying revenue streams.
“The process of providing learning remotely has created an unusual opportunity for donors,” Pradeep explains. “They can now engage with children in a community of their choice. I am excited to be part of this effort.” You can read his full bio here.
In addition, Houston Chapter President Dhiren Shethia has been elected to the Pratham USA national board. Dhiren is a managing director at Accenture, where he serves as a thought leader and strategic advisor to Fortune 500 companies. His leadership and business experience will strengthen and enhance Pratham USA’s major gifts and corporate fundraising efforts as we continue to assess strategic growth opportunities.
Dhiren, whose family has been involved with Pratham for over fifteen years, is impressed by Pratham’s “unique evidence-based approach that addresses literacy- and education-related challenges that are massive in scale” and sees his appointment as an “opportunity to be a greater part of the journey and influence the future of Pratham.” You can read his full bio here.
According to Pratham USA Chairman Deepak Raj, “Our recovery from this pandemic requires leaders like Pradeep and Dhiren to help us imagine new strategies to raise funds in support of our mission and work on the ground. We congratulate them on their respective appointments.”
